Rankings

A club can have their own independent rankings and tournaments outside national or international tours.

Coral allows clubs to manage their own settings for the purpose of having rankings, however, it is best to have the first time setup done by the Coral team. Please contact support@tablesoccer.org and provide the following details:

• Tour name
• List of tournament categories with corresponding point systems
• List of rankings
• Additional match formats (optional)

Tour Calendar

• Define the name of the tour. Ex: {city-name} Tour or Club Tour

Match Formats

Most common match formats:

• Points
  • First to 7
  • First to 7 draw at 6
  • First to 8 draw at 7
• Games
  • First to 2 games won - decisive game up to 8
  • First to 3 games won - decisive game up to 8
  • First to 2 games won - decisive game 2 goals diff
  • First to 3 games won - decisive game 2 goals diff
• Team:Relay
  • Race to 40 - S/D/S/D - 2 goals diff
  • Race to 30 - D/D/D - 2 goals diff
• Team:Split
  • n/a

Provide a list of match formats that the club requires besides the most common ones.

Tournament Categories

• Define a list of tournament categories for individuals
• Each tournament category has to be assigned a point system (see below).
• It is recommended to have 2+ categories
• Example of tournament categories names:
  • Challenger
  • Challenger Pro

Point Systems

Define points assigned to players after a competition ends.

• Define the list of rankings for each set of rules: Official, Classic etc
• Define the number for how many top results to be counted (ex: Top 7)

Tip

Coral can assist to create advanced ranking systems that can include results from more than just one competition category. For example, assign points to Junior U19 players if they play in Open and the tournament does not have any Junior U19 competition.
