Teams
You can manage the club's teams by accessing the Teams
option from the sidebar while on the organization's profile page.
Create a team
To create a new team you can follow this guide:
- 1) Go to your organization profile
- 2) Access the
Teams
option from the sidebar - 3) Click on
Create

What name should I use?
For best results you should use a name that is linked with the player category as shown in the example above to make it easier for managers to know which team is the right one. The name can be changed after the team is created and also during registrations for that specific tournament.
Can I use Open
for player category?
If your team will take part in competitions where a specific category is required (Men
, Women
etc), it is recommended to use the most appropiate player category.
Can I change the player category?
Once your team is created, the player category is no longer changeable.
If you've made a mistake during team creation, please contact support@tablesoccer.org
in order to amend the category.
Manage team lineup
To manage a team's lineup, click on any team from the list of teams.
In the next page you have Add Player
and Add Coach
options in order to add people to your team.
Add players
When you click on Add Player
the search will filter for players that are members of your club.
Also, you cannot add players that are not compatible with the team's player category. Example, you cannot add Women
to a Men
team or vice-versa.
Add coach
When you click on Add Coach
the search will filter for all players that are in the system, including those that are not part of your club.
Add captain
To manage a player's role in the team, go to the list of players (bottom table) and click on the edit button for the corresponding player.
From the pop-up, you can choose to make him a captain
or remove his status of a captain
.
Remove player or coach
From the list of players (bottom table), click on the corresponding Trash
icon to remove any player or coach.
Once a person is removed, you can check the log by clicking on the Transfers
tab (bottom table).
Roles
There are currently 4 roles a person can have within a team:
player
coach
- Is allowed to manage the team lineup during the competitioncaptain
- Is allowed to manage the team lineup during the competitionother
- Anyone that is not aplayer
or acoach
Join a tournament
Once the team is created, from the team's page, click on Join tournament
button.
Next, you must search for a tournament that has team competitions and allows your team to be part of.
After you select the tournament and the competition, you can add any player from your current team's lineup.
If the player is not already in the list, you can click on Add Player
to include additional players that are members of your club.
How can I join a tournament with players that are not part of my club?
The tournament managers have the permission to add players to your teams that are not already part of your club. Additionally, the tournament manager can also allow the team managers to add players that are not part of the club.
Remove team
The teams cannot be removed. Instead, you can change the lineup as often as you need in order to have it up-to-date before attending tournaments.
