The club or federation will provide you with 2 or more options to become a member at the national level or both the national and international level.

I joined a club. What is the provisional status?

Once your membership request has been granted by a club or a federation, if there is an outstanding membership fee to be paid, you will receive the provisional status starting with that level.

Once the membership fee obligation is paid, you will automatically become active at that level and gain more permissions like joining tournaments by yourself.

What is the difference between provisional and active statuses?

As a provisional player you will be limited in terms of joining official tournaments.

Examples:

  • You cannot join tournaments by yourself
  • You can join a maximum number of tournaments as provisional during a season
  • Higher fees when joining tournaments etc
